Ghost of the Coyote - Night Ride
A great night ride through the Sitgreaves National Forest under an awesome star filled sky. Ghost of the Coyote was named originally because of the close by hiking trail of the same name. After we pre-ran this ride the head of a coyote appeared on our GPS.... Creepy? or Cool? You decide. Approx 35 miles.
Join us as we ride through some of Arizona's White Mountains most scenic areas. This ride includes some semi-technical sections with a nice cruising speed across open flats with great views. Take in the slower pace section of the Show Low Creek river bed and enjoy the canyon views as we crawl over some small boulders. Pack your lunch for this one because we will be nowhere near a restaurant. Look around for a chance to see Antelope and other wildlife. We even spotted a Mexican Grey Wolf out on this trail. Approx 50 miles
Join in on the fun of this ride and experience a semi - leisurely paced ride through the White Mountains at it's finest. You'll experience several climbs onto the ridges of the mountains with overlooks and views in all directions. Don't be afraid of the climbs you'll experience - SxS's handle these like a mountain goat! You'll run up into the Ponderosa Pines and be cool with all your UTV friends! Bring a lunch and Binoculars as you'll be sure to see awesome views of the surrounding lowlands, forest and possible wildlife - just recently we saw 3 herds of deer, a large herd of Elk and a band of Feral Horses on this ride. Approx 60 miles
